Every day in Venice, as I watched the gondoliers sing and paddle their way through the canals, they would always end the ride with the song "Ciao, Venezia"! It quickly became one of my favorite songs, mainly because it was so catchy and would get easily stuck in my head, but even now, as I write this blog post, I can't help but silently sing "Ciao, Venezia" with a smile.
This outfit couldn't be a more perfect reminder of Venice: the color matching the colorful buildings, the ruffles complementing the air of romance, and of course the boater hat to pay homage to the city's famous gondoliers. My dad had bought the roses for my mom the night before for her birthday, but I stole them for this photo shoot and I'll just pretend that Casanova himself sent me these flowers for our dreamy date afloat the canals of Venice. The only thing about this outfit that doesn't match the city of Venice is its price! This romper is under $100 but looks and feels like a million bucks! It's perfect for travel because you don't have to wear a bra, and it covers up your stomach so you can eat all the pasta and pizza that you want!
