How to Spice Up Your Fall Wardrobe
It's finally October and although I'm all for the cozy sweaters and comfy layers, I also like to (pumpkin) spice up my Fall my wardrobe with pieces like this dress lace up dress from Majorelle. Did you see what I did there with the "pumpkin spice"? Okay, back to the subject: think autumn wedding, sexy date night, or in my case, doggy play date! This idea of "spicing up" my Fall wardrobe comes from my deep-rooted idea of dressing for your body (read the post here). Because I'm very petite, baggy sweaters and comfy layers just don't look as effortless on me as I think they look on Pinterest. That's why I try to connect with Fall trends that fit better for my body (or don't require oversized sweaters and jeans). Here are a couple of my favorite ways to update your fall wardrobe.
Forget about winter whites and cool blacks for Fall, try a pop of color! From forest green to maroon to dark navy, there are so many colors to choose from this season. My personal favorite has to be the deep marigolds that are popping up everywhere.
ruffles and frills
When Fall and Winter come, we tend to stay with sleek coats and sweaters, but this season, try something else other than a statement sleeve and go for full ruffles and lace!
This dress is so beautiful and I love how it hugs your body without making it unbearable. There is still room for a slice of pizza, if you know what I'm saying.
