7 Luxe Velvet Pieces At Every Price Point You Need for Fall

Velvet is probably one of my favorite textures when it comes to Fall fashion. And this season, velvet is back with full force from booties to hats to the usual tops and dresses. Back in the day, velvet was only worn by kings and queens and was considered a luxurious and expensive fabric! Today, I still think velvet carries its heir of luxury, but its not only for royals. I love how versatile velvet is and that you can easily wear it from day to night and work to play. I'm wearing a Tularosa skirt (it also comes in a royal blue) and I love the faux wrap front with the bow detail! You can definitely style this dress up or down. I dressed it down here with this off-the-shoulder sweater from Majorelle, but try styling it up with this satin bodysuit for a sexier date night look.

Keep reading for my top velvet pieces so far this season! It was so hard to narrow it down because there are so many cute pieces out there! I'm probably going to have to do an even bigger round up in another post.

Wearing: Majorelle Sweater, Tularosa Skirt, Christian Louboutin Heels, Cult Gaia Bag, Valentino Sunnies

ready, set, shop!

1. velvet blazer

You can wear a velvet blazer for work or just throw it over a t-shirt and call it an outfit! This one is under $100 and I love the tie-sleeve detail.

2. flutter sleeve tee

This top is so versatile (and it's only $39!). I would wear it with jeans on the weekend (untucked), or you can wear it with a pencil skirt (tucked in) for a more formal look. The flutter sleeve detail really elevates this from a basic tee to something special.

3. velvet romper

I love the color of this rompe, it's so unique! Not quite burgundy, not quite brown, kind of burnt orange. The twist front is so flattering, so you can eat your turkey and still look cute!

4. little black dress

There's nothing sexier in my opinion, than the combination of velvet and lace. Update your LBD for fall with this lace trimmed velvet cami dress. I'm obsessed!

5. bakers boy hat

This season it's ALL about the bakers boy hat (or the beret), but forget about the classic style and go for a velvet one. This one is just $ 26!

6. velvet bootie

Your fall shoe collection is not complete without a pair of velvet booties. There are embellished versions and different colors, but my pick is this blush pink one!

7. romantic dress

There is something about the combination of velvet, blush and ruffles that makes me swoon! I've got this dress in my shopping cart!
