SheIn Sweater, Maggy London Skirt, Stuart Weitzman Boots, Gucci Marmont Bag, Topshop Beret
If you didn't know this about me before, I have been a pescatarian for almost 2 years now. With the new year, one of the goals that I set for myself is to try to eliminate animal products out of my closet as well. Though I understand that it may not be 100% feasible, like these boots that I am wearing, for instance, are real suede and you probably can't eliminate leather bags from your closet, but one step that I can take is to 100% eliminate real fur from my closet. Baby steps, right?
With the quality of faux fur these days, there really is no need to be sporting real fur! This Topshop faux fur jacket was one of my best purchases this winter season and it's a perfect example of why you don't need to be wearing real fur anymore! It's so much more affordable, at just $150 for a jacket versus thousands for a real fur jacket.
The same idea applies with this sweater from SheIn. It's under $30, but the faux fur trim makes it feel so luxe! I love the embellishments that accent the trim as well. I styled this with a velvet pleated skirt and velvet bag. I love how the oversize sweater just drapes over the skirt.
